| Inspired by a serendipitous encounter with photographer Alan Mogensen, who advocates "pushing things to the limit", I decided to share a little of the neon magic of the teeming Pacific reefs how I really remember them. Here is a first pass. (FYI - for his youthful and playful enthusiasm, his optimistic vision to explore and document the wonderful world around us, and for his willingness to take out the time to humbly and non-possessively share what he has found, Alan is placed high on my list of superheroes and people that I want to be like when I grow up...if that ever happens...) |
