Fire Performance @ Centennial Olympic Park -- Dec 9th, 2007
| Hanukah, also known as the "Feast of Lights", is an 8 day Jewish festival commemorating the victory in 165 B.C. of the Maccabees over Antiochus Epiphanes (c. 215-164 B.C.) and the rededication of the Temple at Jerusalem. The "Hot Toddies" and "Fahrenheit Fire Performers of Atlanta" collaborated to add a little extra light to the festivities. Serenaded by mesmerizing traditional music, and amidst dancing and kids riding around on parent's shoulders, we spun flaming umbrellas, bounced on stilts, and shared our gypsy circus magic with a couple hundred happy celebrants. |
